Welcome to the Coleman Home & School Association Web Site

Coleman School is fortunate to have a very active, supportive and generous parent organization.  The H.S.A supports Coleman in a variety of ways with more than forty committees such as Book Fair, Cultural Enrichment, Character Education, Great Book Giveaway and a School Wide Fair. Together we can make a difference, and all parents are encouraged to participate in any way they can.

What is the H.S.A.?

The Coleman H.S.A. contributes to the maintenance of high quality education, provides communication between parents, teachers and students and carefully selects a diversity of programs and assemblies that will allow each child to experience something new.

We also provide funding for field trips, technology, author visits and books for the library. Our fundraising efforts allow the H.S.A. to support these activities and teachers to enhance everyday learning.

This year so far, the H.S.A. has funded programs such as, Dinosaur Rocks, HealthBarn USA Salad Bar Tasting, Chinese New Year Puppet Celebration, Day in Clay and PUSH Physcial Theater. These programs and assemblies would not be possible without the support of our parents and executive board members.

In June, our executive board will have positions available. Being on the board has been a special experience. New friendships have been made. I have enjoyed working with our dedicated Coleman parents and watching the children's expression as they enjoy a performance or participate in an assembly. It has been a true pleasure for me. Please review our Nominating Committee Page for more details on available positions and committee information.

Thank You,

Emily Sadowski

A big thanks to Staci Lichtensten for hosting our first clothing drive. We appreciate everyone who donated and came out to support this event. Thanks!

Reminder: Dogs are not allowed on school property at any time.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Parking Reminder
This is a reminder that parents picking up Kindergarteners must use parking spaces around the loop or on the street. Parking in the staff lot to pick up or drop off kindergarteners is prohibited. The Police Department has granted permission for parents to park adjacent to the yellow curb in the traffic loop at dismissal time to pick up morning kindergarteners; however, you may not leave your car unattended at any time. This is a fire zone and you will be ticketed
Parking in front of the school, in the staff lot or in front of the angled spaces is prohibited at any time. Do not drive through the parking lot at any time to pick up or drop off your child. This is for staff access only.
Please be certain every caregiver who transports your child to and from school knows and understands the procedures. They are in place for the safety of our entire school community.
